Poll: More Americans find Trump racist, corrupt and cruel

A recent survey by  Economist/YouGov found nearly 56% of U.S. Adults are very or somewhat dissatisfied with President Trump’s performance in his role, and many are choosing to express their dissatisfaction through the language they use when discussing him.

The same survey showed roughly 47% of respondents would use “racist” to describe Trump, while 24% would not choose this word for a description of Trump.

Similarly, nearly 49% of respondents described Trump as “corrupt,” which is a term that likely refers to Trump’s increased wealth since he returned to the White House, while 23% chose not to use this word.

Finally, roughly 46% of adult respondents characterized the president as “cruel,” while 22% did not characterize the president as such.

Perhaps what’s most interesting about this survey is the 30% of Americans who still seem to have no strong opinions of Trump.

For example, look at the 49% who think Trump is corrupt compared to the 23% who don’t. It’s easy to deduce that the high majority of folks who insist they have no strong opinion of Trump end up supporting him in elections.
